Angela ensures equity and inclusion for the development of a robust supply chain strategy that includes learning & development for our teams and leaders, improved communications internally and externally, supplier relationships & partnerships and business office efficiency.
Presenter:
Corinne M. Smereka is responsible for the strategic planning, coordination, and development and implementation of business development, and economic growth initiatives for the Workforce Training Solutions Division in the Schoolcraft College Business Development Center.
Prior to joining Schoolcraft College, Ms. Smereka was Director of Corporate Business Development/Professional Development for a major global engineering mobility society. She was responsible for all aspects of marketing, sales, and program/product development in the Corporate automotive marketplace for the Professional Development complement of seminars, e-learning and corporate in-house programs directed specifically for the engineering community.
Additionally, Ms. Smereka worked extensively in the automotive market sector as a management consultant in her own firm, and for several large training companies, holding positions of Director of Operations, Director of Instructional Systems Designs, and Director of e-Learning Business Development. She has a broad range of experience in the design, development, and delivery of training, facilitation, and consulting engagements. She is an award-winning corporate trainer and facilitator, certified Senior Executive Coach, and holds adjunct faculty positions in Business at Schoolcraft and Baker Colleges.
Ms. Smereka earned her master’s degree in Education, and double Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Spanish from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, and is an active member of ASTD (American Society for Training and Development), MSED (Marketing and Sales Executives of Detroit), and AWAF (the Automotive Women’s Alliance Foundation), where she served as a Board of Director for several years. She was awarded the ranking of State of Michigan Certified Business Solutions Professional (CBSP) and is also an Advisory Committee member to the State of Michigan Department of Energy, Labor and Economic Growth (DeLEG) Michigan Academy for Green Mobility."

Refunds cannot be issued for cancellations received after this date; however, substitutions for another person to attend in your place are gladly accepted.
